We are excited to announce that Eastwind Trucking is expanding its logistics capabilities. In addition to our container drayage, intermodal, and trucking services, we now offer a full range of warehouse and freight-handling services to better support your drayage, transportation, and supply chain needs.
What We Can Now Help With
Our facility sits minutes from the Port Newark and Port Elizabeth terminals, which means a container can come off the port, be handled, and go back out on our own trucks without a second carrier or a second set of appointments. In addition to drayage, we can now assist with:
- Transloading – Transferring freight between trucks, containers, and other modes of transportation
- Cross-Docking – Moving freight from inbound to outbound transportation with minimal storage time
- Short-Term & Temporary Storage – Flexible warehouse space for freight awaiting pickup, delivery, or transfer
- Freight Consolidation & Deconsolidation – Combining or separating shipments to improve transportation efficiency
- Palletizing & Re-Palletizing – Preparing and reorganizing freight for storage or transportation
- Load Reworking & Freight Recovery – Restacking, reorganizing, and securing shifted or rejected loads
- Container & Trailer Loading/Unloading – Professional handling of inbound and outbound freight
- Sorting, Staging & Distribution – Organizing freight for scheduled pickups, deliveries, or final-mile distribution
- Overflow Warehouse Support – Additional capacity for seasonal demand, unexpected volume, or temporary storage needs
One Partner for Transportation, Warehousing, and Freight Handling
Our goal is to provide a more complete logistics solution by combining transportation, warehouse support, and freight handling through one reliable partner. The same 24-hour dispatch team that moves your containers now coordinates the handling and storage, so you have one point of contact and one invoice for the whole move.
We are currently accepting new warehouse business and would welcome the opportunity to support your company with any upcoming freight or storage needs. Whether you have a one-time project, overflow freight, or an ongoing warehouse requirement, contact us to discuss your needs and receive pricing.
